Business Processes You Can Automate With AI
The best candidates are repetitive, rules-heavy, and already annoying. Judgment stays with the team.
Follow-up and intake
The first reply to a new inquiry, the questions that qualify it, and the reminder when nobody has answered. This is repetitive and easy to describe, which makes it a strong candidate. A person should still handle the angry, the unusual, and the high-value conversation.
Scheduling and internal status
Offering times, writing the appointment down, and telling the right person it exists. Also the small status updates that currently live in someone's head. These break when the calendar is not actually connected, so the integration matters more than the chatbot.
Reporting and first drafts
A weekly summary pulled from systems you already have. A first draft of a routine email, a job recap, or an internal note, reviewed by a person before it goes anywhere. The draft is the automation. The send button is still a human decision until you trust it.
What to leave alone
Pricing exceptions, complaints, hiring, anything legal, and any step where a wrong answer is expensive and hard to notice. Automation can prepare those. It should not quietly finish them.
