What Is an AI Audit?

An audit is not a tool demo. It is a look at the work, the software, and the few places a change would matter.

Start with the work, not the model

Owners usually book an audit because the feed is loud. A new assistant launches every week, and none of them come with a map of your Tuesday. A useful audit starts with the tasks that already consume the team: who follows up, who rebuilds the same spreadsheet, who answers the same question.

If the conversation begins with a product name, it is a pitch. If it begins with a workflow, it can become a decision.

What we actually ask

How a lead arrives. What happens in the first hour. Which system is supposed to know about it. Where people copy information by hand. What the owner wishes would happen when they are on a job, in a meeting, or closed.

We also ask what you have already tried. A lot of companies own tools they do not use. The right next step is sometimes to turn on something you already pay for.

What a free introductory audit is not

It is not a 40-page report, a security certification, or a promise that a project will pay for itself. Those are different engagements, and they should be priced on purpose. The introductory meeting is there to tell you whether a next step exists.

At Handoff AI that introductory meeting is free. If you want a proposal after it, we write one. If the honest answer is to wait, that is a successful audit too.
